DJ ADJUST began his DJ career in 1995. Born and raised in Wicker Park, Chicago, DJ ADJUST learned in his early childhood throughout the 80’s, about the styles and culture of dance music through the influences of his family and friends. In the early 90’s, he realized how popular and influential the House and Techno music movement had been in Chicago and began learning as much about DJing as he could. It was in early 1995 when DJ ADJUST acquired his first mixer and set of decks, and the passion for mixing music and entertaining crowds began.

DJ ADJUST quickly began rockin’ house parties and dance hall events alongside other prominent DJ’s and production crews all over the Chicagoland area. Word had spread, and business eventually came in the forms of High School Proms, Sweet 16’s and Family Reunions. In 1998, DJ ADJUST‘s career began to expand into the bar and club scenes throughout Chicago. By learning how to MC parties and events DJ ADJUST began entertaining private parties, weddings and corporate events.

Throughout the 21st Century, DJ ADJUST promoted and performed hundreds of events throughout Chicago and in 2008 he released a promo mix CD series entitled “Dj Adjust Presents: The State of HOUSE“. In 2010, DJ ADJUST relocated to Orlando, FL and quickly gained club and festival appearances all around Florida such as the Autumn Music Festival and the Ocala Dance Festival 4. Throughout the past 17 years, it has been his dedication to quality dance music and quality entertainment in the industry that has kept DJ ADJUST going strong.

The long awaited CD Mix debut from Chicago’s House Music DJ ADJUST, has finally arrived!

Through much dedication and time, DJ ADJUST considers this Volume 1 to be a significant and integral landmark release for his entire series of House Music Mixes to come!

Dj Adjust Presents: The State of HOUSE – A two hour, double CD compilation Mix of House Music tracks that DJ ADJUST assembled to reflect both the seriousness of the House Music Scene as well as the progress that House Music has made since his inception to spinning it back in 1995. After several years of collecting music, rocking sets, contemplating playlists and identifying what his ideal House Music Mix should sound like, DJ ADJUST suddenly discovers himself engulfed in all the hypocrisy, politics and business that it takes to rock sets, produce, promote, and release a quality House Music Mix in the current State of the House Music Scene today.

Through the release of this Mix series, DJ ADJUST intends to raise the awareness that the House Music Scene is not all big business and that there is still plenty of love to go around to all the fellow underground Clubbers, Artists, Promoters & DJ’s alike, so to that end; Dj Adjust Presents: The State of HOUSE Vol. 1!
